“The Ideal of Sacred Hungary, is a model of linking the past, present, and future in a way, that combines the best practices of the past with the expectations of the present and the challenges of the future. It takes the most ancient sacral principal of existense into practice, at the same time, applying the 21th century scientific and technical achievements, for a a liveable, caring, sustainable, truth-based, happy future. ” – written on the website of Sacra Hungarorum Group.
During our visit, we learned that the SH group considers its main duty, to include within a unified framework all the movements launched today in Hungary for reform purposes. As we have seen, this framework is based on the SH group’s own universal law perceptions.
At the same time, we have to admit that this was the most educational meeting of the whole project so far. Unfortunately, few of the ideals listed on the website have been noticed in practice. The group was in a loud and unproductive debate. With this, time had gone, without any inspiring introduction. This is how the time spent on the performance passed.
In the small group work we were somewhat compensated, we had the opportunity to introduce ourselves and meet some outstanding personalities. We learned a lot on two topics. The first is financial sustainability for organizations performing social tasks, networking. The second one is the use of health-preservative inventions in mental health work.
After the visit, the team needed to briefly discuss our experiences. As a lesson we have learned that our methodology and the training we went through is very important. We decided to offer our methodology for testing for all the organizations we know after the summary phase. This is a practice and test mode for us, and a potential for development for them.
All in all, we can be proud of the team, because we managed to transform a weak situation into a maximum of learning and to put it in a constructive framework and gain inspiration from it.
