The main theme of the training was the value system. Awereness of value system and values is an important factor in self-knowledge work. We agreed that the values of the individual and the group / community / organization should be in harmony. We learned about the “iceberg model”, according to which the value system is the deepest, yet all-pervasive layer of iceberg water. It is not visible on its own, but can be perceived at the level of principles and rules that operate the organization, which is one higher layer of the iceberg. Yet what everyone sees is the tip of the iceberg, which is associated with all the layers below it: it is a set of behaviors, relationships, and material conditions. As a result, we have been thoroughly discussing our common values during the two days. We have become aware of our responsibility, as initiators, for all the visible parts of our “products” and services, as these depend on our own individual values.
