Hungarian Economist Society of Slovakia – Szlovákiai Magyar Közgazdász Társaság (SZMKT)
We present our wide range of research and economic experiences to this project:
We created and released Plan ‘Baross Gábor’ in 2014.
During the 24 years following the change of regime, no comprehensive territorial and economic development plan has been drawn up for South Slovakia / Upper Hungary, which beside assessing and evaluating the initial situation, defines goals and priorities, indicating potential breakpoints.
The present development plan includes the situation assessment, SWOT analysis of the 17 existing districts in Southern Slovakia and the potential development paths and progress possibility of the 28 micro-regions in the districts, the latter being built on the specificities and traditions of the districts and micro-regions and taking into consideration the future opportunities.
