Looking back to the preparation cycle

On 20th May 2018, we started the Project’s Opening Conference. The first day was started with workshop work, where we looked back at the preparation cycle. The feedback cycle of the preparatory cycle confirmed our starting hypothesis: “The implementation experiences and the results of the past years clearly show that the success of the strategies is mainly on the basis of coordinated, cross-sectoral action plans and programs.”

Based on the collaborative work carried out by the cooperating partners, we deepened our exploration of the situation. We found that in all three target areas, family assistance and social services are often experience that the very complex human-social problem situations – such as user needs and professional interventions – and the given solutions and results are not in line with each other. At the beginning of the project, the participants agreed that vulnerable, excluded, disadvantaged settlements, regions, families, communities, the topic of social inclusion, reducing poverty and depth need the promotion of co-operation at both micro- and macro-level. It requires a complex approach with the involvement of various sectors (health, education, employment, social profession, etc.), therefore we continued our conference in this spirit.
