Interorganizational Collaboration – May 2018 22nd
On the second training day we continued the meeting with the topic of interinstitutional services and IP collaboration model.
In the literature this model came up in the late 1970s with the term of ’inter-agency services refers to a stronger relationship between different health and social services, such as the various sectors.
The training participants had difficulty in distinguishing interdisciplinarity from the organizational community, because during the community development work, the essence and nature of the activity gave priority to the cooperation between the organizations.
According to the participants, the interorganizational cooperation can be defined primarily as a means of implementing the activity as a framework, while interdisciplinarity emphasizes the relationships between professional knowledge and styles. In their systematization, a wide variety of qualifications can be distinguished in the various variations of cooperating organizations and disciplinary professions, so interdisciplinarity and interprofessionality can be interpreted in one or more organizations and in long-term projects between organizations and professions. The activity between a wide range of organizations and a wide range of professions requires a undoubtedly higher quality collaboration.
